god's precious creations daycare

GPC's Philosophy

Our method of teaching is a “hands-on” approach. Children, as most people, learn easiest and have more fun when they learn through their senses and by experiences.
Our main educational goal is to foster a desire for learning within each child. Your child may not necessarily bring home a paper or craft every day: please understand that does not mean “they did nothing” at daycare that day. What it means is that the child is a participant, not just an observer, and is involved in a variety of creative learning activities.

faith based educational curriculum

Our Program

God's Precious Creations Daycare Center is a Four Star Texas Rising Star Facility. We are a leading provider of early education and preschools, employer-sponsored child care, educational advisory services and other work/life/ solutions.

Infant Classroom

The infant room is from 6 weeks to 17 months. Our teachers
do more than just change diapers and feed babies. They
provide a warm and nurturing learning environment

Toddler Classroom

The toddler room is from 18 months to 3 years. They are moving around more and building their balancing skills. They are very curious and are showing more independence.

Preschool Classroom

The preschool classroom ages are 3 to 5 years ( prior to attending kindergarten). We open each day with prayer, a bible story, and a brief circle time. We have centers like the
toddler room: library, pretend play, art, sensory table ...

After School Program

We accept school-age children from kindergarten through age 13. The Coldspring-Oakhurst ISD school bus picks them up in the morning at God's Precious Creations and takes them to school.

A Word

From Our Founder

“Thank you so much for visiting GCP’s online haven! I’m excited to
announce that God’s Precious Creations just celebrated their first 10
yearsl It has been a wondrous journey but by no means is it just
settling. Here at GPC, we are working more than ever to make sure each
teacher has her CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Development. The
first 10 years have laid the groundwork for national accreditation. We
are building our portfolio, and building the best curriculum there is so
that we can achieve National Association of Education of Young
Children (NAEYC) accreditation. Only 8 to 10% of home-based and
center-based child care businesses reach that standard. We are so
excited to bring this goal to our small community.”
